Description

Emile Langonet hailed from the esteemed lineage of violin makers in Mirecourt, France. His passion for the craft was cultivated under the guidance of his father, Emile Laurent Langonet. Interestingly, the elder Langonet began his life as a young shepherd, often restless and prone to wandering. One such wandering led him to Mirecourt, the historic heart of French violin making. There, young Emile stumbled upon an entirely new world – a town brimming with violin workshops and master bow makers. Enchanted by this vibrant atmosphere and inspired by conversations with musicians, he immersed himself in a culture he had never known before.

This violin is a true gem – a smaller full-sized instrument with a remarkable charm. Its exquisite tonal quality makes it ideal for a musician with smaller hands or a young prodigy still growing into a full-sized Stradivari model. The wood grain is exceptionally striking, further enhancing the uniqueness of this special instrument.
